GEHC's Ultrasound General Imaging (GI) segment is looking for shared service group leader who is responsible for all aspects of the development of new shared-service module as a part of new product development, and the transfer of pre-exiting shared-service module into new NPI.
GI traditionally represents radiology. Shared-service implies any overlap of radiology market with other segments, for example, Urology, OB&GYN, Cardio vascular, Point of Care (POC), etc. As shared service group leader, you will work with product managers, clinical managers, and key customers to understand customer need, commercial need, and/or shared-service market trend. You will interact with all other functions and other ultrasound segments.
Essential responsibilities are (but are not limited to):
Research and understand shared-service market, interacting with product managers, marketing managers, key customers, etc.
Lead shared-service roadmap, including implementation schedule for feature transfer from one segment to another and/or one product to another product.
Prioritize shared-service features working with shared-service string committee, consisting of GI general managers, product managers and marketing managers.
Develop and define the project scope of work, including cost, budgets and deliverables.
Support product managers with the development of business case for new product introductions and/or similar projects, requiring share-service feature/modules.
Execute the shared-service development projects, aligned with GI product launch schedule.
Lead the integration effort of the shared-service feature into ultrasound console design.
Drive cost-efficiency and best-in-class quality of shared-service features/modules
Support product manager and marketing managers for customer interaction of the clinical aspect of shared-service features/modules.
Report the progress of all aspects of on-going and future development activities to the shared-service string committee on a regular basis.Quality Specific Goals:
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
Mater Degree in Computer Science, Bio Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related computer field
More than 7 years’ experience in healthcare product development and/or market development.
Good understanding of ultrasound market and its clinical aspect.
2-3 years’ experience in interacting with healthcare customers.
Excellent communicating skill in interacting with global ultrasound product and marketing communities.
Proven ability to manage global and cross functional development projects in a positive and collaborative leadership style.
Working experience with multi projects in parallel and fast-moving projects
Some traveling will be required
