This position is located at Camp Humphreys Veterinary Treatment Facility.

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is commuting area of Republic of Korea Peninsula. (NOTE: Local commuting area is defined as a radius of 50 miles; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: you live outside of this radius and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis or you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses (must be able to be present for work within 2 weeks of selection)

Duties

This is a supervisory position. The Administrative Officer will coordinate the day to day activities of five Veterinary Treatment Facilities while managing and supervising the administrative personnel at each Veterinary Treatment Facility in the Republic of Korea. Duties will include but are not limited to:

Manage the front office, non-medical operation of the facility and provides guidance to front office staff. Oversee office operations and develops guidance and instructions to ensure effective and efficient management of the activity. Perform full range of personnel management and supervisory responsibilities. Identify financial, personnel, and material needs and problem areas. Analyze recruitment and staffing needs and makes recommendations through proper channels. Greet clients, answering telephones, answering questions regarding products, services and fees. Create employee schedules. Identify requirements for budget, providing solutions for issues. Implement and perform Internal/Quality Control Program for facility. Complete payroll and submit weekly reports. Verify and correct Daily Activity Reports and submit to financial services. Compile, verify, correct and submit end of month financial documents. Acts as Inventory Management Officer and Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder for the facility. Acts as Liaison between facility and external vendors. Conduct inventory reviews. Research and propose cost effective solutions to meet mission requirements. Maintain accountability for equipment and for proper maintenance of equipment. Conduct periodic business analysis to ensure financial success.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Requirements*: 1. Experience in administrative and/or clinical management (your experience must have provided you with the knowledge, skills, and ability to successfully perform the duties of the position, including inventory management, program development, implementation, selection, training and supervision of personnel). 2. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation and composition techniques needed to accurately type a variety of material from written sources or voice recordings. 3. Communicates orally and in writing to present recommendations and coordinate services. 4. The ability to plan and organize daily work. 5. Able to analyze problems to identify significant factors by gathering pertinent data while recognizing solutions. *Minimum Qualifications must be listed on submitted resume and will be validated during the applicant review and rating.

Best Qualified Criteria*: 1. Possess a four-year college/university degree with a major course of study/substantial course work in Business and demonstrated work experience as described above. *PLEASE NOTE: Transcripts/degrees (containing full name, school name, course of study, grades, etc) must be uploaded at the time of application. 2. At least one (1) year of working experience as a supervisor with experience including but not limited to managing employee performance (and handling disciplinary matters when necessary), determining schedules, workload distribution, strategic communication, etc. 3. Knowledge of the Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentality (NAFI) processes (i.e. NAF Government Purchase Cards (GPC), Resale Inventory Management, Daily Activity Reporting and Budgeting, etc.) **Best Qualifying Criteria must be outlined in submitted resume.
