Basic Qualifications :
Active Secret Clearance
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Outstanding professional and communication skills
Experience in Emergency Management operations or related feld
Experience in CBRNE/HazMat operations
A minimum of 5 years of experience providing EM/CBRNE/HazMat training and equipment maintenance support
Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program(HSEEP) certified
Physical demands include standing for prolong periods of time, lifting/carrying 50 lbs is required.
Proficient in MS Office
Self-motivated with keen attention to detail
Demonstrated leadership ability, sound decision making, and effective interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Action Officer experience working on a military staff
US Military service veteran or experience working with the U.S military and interfacing directly with uniformed personnel, understanding military protocol and Chain of Command
Five years experience in EM/CBRNE operations
Experience in COOP Plan development
Experience in planning development and all aspects of crisis communication, information dissemination
Two years experience in managing logistics
ICS 300/400 certification
Highly skilled, self motivated emergency management NIMS/ICS expert
Support USMC CBRNE program with the responsibility as an instructor providing CBRNE training and equipment support to First Responders on Marine Corps installations
Responsible for the employment, maintenance, and serviceability of installation CBRNE equipment and supplies.
Support the development of CBRNE and Emergency Management plans, policies, and procedures.
Ensure installation response personnel are properly trained, organized, and equipped, to operate/respond effectively and efficiently to All Hazards incidents IAW Marine Corps Orders, Installation CONOPS, SOPs, and other applicable standards and directives.
Make recommendations to installation commander on all items pertaining to installation emergency management and CBRNE protection.
Capable of autonomously planning, coordinating, and facilitating training onCBRNE equipment utilized by First Responders on Marine Corps installations and provide technical advice, maintenance, and assistance as required/requested.
Serve as Installation Emergency Management representative using technical insight, and understanding the development of installation level operations plans; functional and incident specific EM plans, guidance, policy, and SOPs.
Collaborate with government officials in order to prepare and analyze damage assessments
Determine EM/CBRNE readiness shortfalls and, with command approval, submit for baseline/advance training and two All Hazards exercises annually IOT mitigate/remove readiness/preparedness shortfalls
Enter data into a supply maintenance management program
