Position Title: End User Sales Manager

Summary

This position is responsible for sales forecasting and managing the business development and sales efforts with final users for Schneider Electric Industry products/solutions; is also responsible for ensuring that the department attains its booking gross margin objectives. Provides leadership to direct sales efforts and ensures the quality and responsiveness of the service provided.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implement sales and business development strategies for automation and control solutions

  • Participate in important negotiations with key customers and assist in negotiations with channels and Sales Engineers

  • Assists other departments with project implementation, service activities, collection issues and cash management

  • Make staffing and deployment decisions to maximize productivity of employees

  • Assists in planning goals and objectives, develop strategies, tactics, and schedules to meet company’s strategic goals

  • Monitors performance and provides coaching and development activities for staffing

  • Assist in the development of departmental budgets

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in sales in a similar industry ; Significant prior experience in Automation and Control Industry

  • People management experience is a must

  • Requires Engineering Techniques, sales knowledge, problem solving skill, communication

Skills

  • Experience of managing complex proposals and negotiations for large projects

  • Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent; Desirable – majored in Electric Engineering

  • Demonstrated ability to create and align sales strategies to the customer’s business needs and objectives

  • Leadership and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in written/spoken English.
