Key Responsibility

Thinking beyond your desk includes:

  1. Uses prescribed and innovative methods, and works with adequate guidance.

  4. Demonstrates good understanding and applies knowledge of an engineering discipline.

  5. Applies engineering and/or scientific skills and continues to develop experience in creating engineering solutions

  6. Closely works with global team members

  7. Validates products through engine testing in customer sites

  8. Applies basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices to assigned tasks.

  9. Assists in developing technical specifications, implementing designs, and delivering high performance, low-cost equipment or system results Integrated with customers’ solutions.

  10. Interfaces with sales and marketing teams to design and deliver solutions.


Qualifications and Competencies:


  1. Cross-Functional Design Review

  2. Able to carry out and coordinate a cross-functional design review at an advanced level and in a wide range of work situations without guidance

  3. Able to train and coach others in developing and applying cross-functional design review on a limited basis.

  4. Product Validation

  5. Understands the measures of data quality, methods of analysis and available tools.

  6. Includes the understanding of the work flow required to schedule, install, setup, calibrate, and operate the equipment associated with testing.

  7. Project Management

  8. Can apply the principles, techniques, and procedures of project management

  9. Is able to use the tools appropriately as part of their work with limited assistance

  10. Manage Customer Relationships

  11. Basic understanding of techniques and tools to enhance productivity (i.e. schedules, appointments, call plans, etc).

  12. Has a basic understanding of attitudes and behaviors to establish relationships and build trust.

  13. Understands the need to and responds with the appropriate time frame to customer needs.

  14. Product Knowledge

  15. Knowledge of products and product lines.

  16. Able to represent the features and benefits of the products in terms a customer will understand.

  17. Knowledge of how the product functions and the technology used

  18. Analyze Issues

  19. Solid understanding of how to analyze issues.

  20. Demonstrates use of analysis skills to learn and analyze information in a timely way.

  21. Understands complex concepts and problems and identifies how they relate to key processes. Applies accurate logic in solving problems

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required. Strong consideration will also be given to candidates who have equivalent Engineering experience and are also working towards an Engineering degree.

  • CAD like CREO, CATIA or UG


  • Work experience in automotive parts supplier

  • Work experience less than 7 years
