The OU Sales Manager will manage our Account and Telesales reach across South
comprehensive education solutions to our customer base, and divide
responsibilities amongst the team to maximize coverage and revenue while
expanding our overall market share.
Oracle University Senior Sales Manager has several tasks and responsibilities
which include the following:
Manage the Sales force tosupport Oracle University in South Korea
Ensure the existing Oracleclient base in the territory is adequately covered, understands ourofferings & that their education service needs are fulfilled by OracleUniversity.
Ensure the achievement ofbusiness revenue and profit goals through territory planning, review andweekly forecasting
Define and implementsuccessful sales programs for the sales staff, assist in Educationbusiness planning and tactical implementation of such plans
Provide Sales support to theregion, and be able to travel and capable to present in person whenrequired
Manage all OSP/reselleropportunities & relationships in the General Business market
Sales management experience– 3 to 5 years of management experience
Oracle experience a plus
Understanding of businessoperations inSouth Korea; actual selling experience in South Korea preferred
Language skills preferred
Comprehensive understandingand familiarity with Oracle Technology and Applications software
Strong presentation skills;able to motivate and elicit cooperation and support from a diverse fieldsales organization
Excellent "BusinessSense" for evaluating sales opportunities in a dynamic andentrepreneurial environment
Ability to manage largenumber activities including a growing sales team
Ability to negotiateprofitable terms and conditions for Oracle University's services andproducts
Excellent business writingskills and experience formulating through contract and proposal responses
Creativity in structuringcustomer/business solutions as it pertains to Oracle University's servicesand products
Ability to work in a teamenvironment
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
The primary focus of an Oracle Inside Sales Team Manager is to plan, manage and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives.
Manages a team of telesales representatives/managers for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Develops working relationships with license, consulting, education, and/or support field managers to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategic regional plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue with frequent guidance from the area manager or director. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs. Working knowledge of telesales job important. Through understanding of Oracle
- s products and services. Ability to lead sales team in all areas of the sales cycle. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability. Degree in Business or Computer Science preferred with 5 - 7 years sales or sales management experience.
