The Technical Landscape Owner (TLO) is to operate hybris landscapes for SAP hybris cloud customers, particularly big customers, and work with a dedicated technical engineers team to plan, build and run the hybris cloud solution.
The Technical Landscape Owner (TLO) must be capable of working in a team environment with technical account manager of customers, other technical leaders, engineering staff, and customers/partners to fulfill the requirement.
The key responsibilities of this role are the following:
Setup and Maintenance of Complete Customer Landscapes
Setup of Customer Specific Landscape Components like Application Servers or Monitoring Components according to the Technical Layout
Change Management Coordination
Ongoing Maintenance of Customer Landscapes
Lifecycle Management activities
L3 Incident Handling / Trouble Shooting
Service Request Handling
Technical Monitoring / Reporting
Operations / Capacity Reporting
Write documentation, operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented landscapes
Ideal candidates for this role will have the following:
A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or substantial previous experience
5 years in IT industry
Familiarity with eCommerce solutions especially based on Java
Good understanding of high availability, multi-tier web infrastructure and architectures
Linux administration skills (Debian, RedHat, or SLES)
Strong experience with Apache servers and a solid understanding of common web technologies
Expertise in deploying and managing Java applications on Apache Tomcat
Ability to effectively communicate designs and decisions to peers, customers and management
Programming or scripting experience (Java, sh, bash, sed, awk, ruby, python, perl, regex)
Experience working in managed services or a cloud-based service provider
Knowledge of infrastructure automation and orchestration concepts
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under stressful conditions
Good English skills verbal and written
Strong problem and troubleshooting skills.
Strong multitasking abilities and quick decision making skills.
ITIL Certification(s) or Technology Certification(s) are considered an asset.
Developer knowledge is considered an asset.
Work effectively in a virtual, global team and develop working relationships across the organization and cultures
Any of the following would be an advantage:
Experience with tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet
Experience working in a DevOps environment
Experience with IaaS technologies on large cloud providers like AWS
Experience working with or in scrum, Agile, CI/CD collaborations
Knowledge of JVM optimization, tuning and debugging
Experience with application performance tuning and APM tools such as dynaTrace or NewRelic
Experience with Relational Databases and SQL
Experience in project management
