·To partner closely with Human Resources Generalists and Hiring Managers to understand and meet current and future recruitment and staffing needs.
·To manage the entire recruitment process to include recruitment strategy discussions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding
·To work in partnership with the HR team to ensure consistent application of standards and methodology.
- To execute Talent Acquisition strategies in the geography and implement cost-effective, high-impact solutions that address business staffing needs (short and long term).
· To ensure that the Company’s agreed quality standards are maintained with regard to its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact.
·Participate in the development and rollout of key programs in line with core global design concepts and regional/business specific needs
·Execute Recruitment strategies in the related geography to meet the organization’s growth plans.
·Develop and use a variety of methods to source candidates that meet the target profile. Use screening techniques to narrow the candidate pool.
·Build and manage relationships with a pool of external talent ahead of immediate recruitment needs. Leverage candidate relationship management methods to keep qualified candidates in close contact with Medtronic.
·Conduct interviews and reference checks and ensure regular contact with external applicants who may be considered for roles
·Lead sourcing and selection processes for open positions.Coordinate pre-employment testing,background checking, travel, relocation and other aspects of the employment process.Provide proactive and timely feedback to candidates and stakeholders during the selection process.
·Manage and monitor progress against approved staffing plans.
·Develop robust and innovative processes for both internal and external sourcing (e.g., referral programs, social media, employer branding).
·Sell and market the organization externally to potential candidates.
·Partner with Corporate campus Programs to manage University recruitment and internship activities to the corporate sector .
·Partner with Country HR to develop, support and manage campus recruiting and internship programs in the respective countries.
·Manage recruitment activity on the system.
·Generate reports of employment activity to monitor hiring progress.
·Ensure the systems and processes are streamlined to efficiently support the business needs while identifying opportunities to leverage resources and processes.
·5+ years’ experience in a recruitment specialist or HR generalist (with heavy focus on staffing) role.
·Solid knowledge of the staffing and talent management best practices with an appreciation and knowledge of the varied and diverse cultures that exist in South East Asia countries and impact our business and global employment markets.
A track record of success in participation and execution of tangible solutions.
Proven track-record of progressive personal career development within HR
Success working across complex; highly matrix; multi-cultural organizations.
Ability to deliver solutions within environments undergoing significant change.
Experience with a variety of staffing sourcing channels; systems; methodologies, analytics, reporting dashboards, and demonstrable expertise in driving change as a result.
·Excellent PC skills, intermediate-advanced Microsoft application skills
·Experience in healthcare, life sciences, medical devices advantageous
·Sound working knowledge of HRIS Systems/Taleo.
·Proven experience in generating HR reports and statistics
·Exposure to developing and coordinating regular HR communications
· Exposure to related administrative processes relating to global employee mobility programs
·Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology or Social Science.
·Post Graduate qualifications in HR or Management highly regarded
