Job summary

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join us in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, you'll promote sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage booking numbers. You will develop and maintain relationships within these accounts and sell Red Hat solutions and professional services. We'll need you to have excellent communication skills because you will regularly meet with C-level executives within your assigned accounts. You will also need to have excellent knowledge of the local market to ensure acceptance of Red Hat's solutions.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Develop the business across major financial holding groups (e.g. Kookmin, KEB Hana, Shinhan, KRX, NH, etc.), including all subsidiaries

  • Meet with prospective customers, provide technical and administrative information about Red Hat solutions

  • Quote appropriate customer prices

  • Present Red Hat brand and solutions to customers and communicate customers' needs to Red Hat

  • Meet assigned sales quotas

Required skills

  • 7+ years of experience selling software solutions

  • Experience with major financial holding groups (e.g. Kookmin, KEB Hana, Shinhan, KRX, NH, etc.)

  • Experience and network in the infrastructure market of the IT industry, e.g. operating systems, middleware, virtualization and cloud, or system management

  • Solid understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs, processes, offerings, and competition

  • Excellent communication and technical skills to ensure development of relationships at IT planning, LOB, application developer, and executive levels throughout organizations

  • Record of selling complex solutions to large organizations and multiple decision makers

  • Ability to work as part of a team while being flexible and showing initiative

  • Experience and knowledge in the market trend area, e.g. Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), DevOps, and MicroService Architecture
