Job Overview The Product Test Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated, independent individual with a broad knowledge of engineering principles in a high-tech environment. Candidate must have a solid foundation in the technology, production process/efficiency/troubleshooting of testing and data analysis.

The job function also includes yield monitor, fluent technical communication with SAT/San Diego and supporting production readiness review.

The PTE should have ATE (PS1600) debugging skills to identify root cause of production issues so that can support production immediately.

The Test Engineer will be located onsite at our HVM sites in Korea.

Collaborate with Quality and Operations to evaluate SATS test issues/holds to determine fault, recommend issue resolution and approve disposition of engineering holds.

Support QCTs Dynamic Requirements in business fulfillment

on IFM Products.


Managing and reporting of daily testing and yield monitoring processes.

Delivers 1st line of problem solving and follow up on testing issues (Test HW& SW).

Delivers 1st line of yield sustaining activities.

Supports electrical failure analysis within RMA process.

Drive on site tester correlation and gauge R&R data analysis activities.

Drive test house team to continuous improve test quality and yield.

Minimum Qualifications Experience with product test engineering and yield management.

5 years of experience working with major HVM SATs.

Basic and Advanced knowledge on Advantest 93k test platform (HW and SW).

Has experience in structured problem solving on test and yield issues in an ongoing mass production test environment.

Preferred Qualifications Experience translating technical problems into actionable items.

Knowledge of latest IC assembly and testing technologies.

Can understand test programs made in C/C+Has deep insight on using industry standard semiconductor data analysis tools.

Has insight to use advanced MS Office functions.

Experience working with technology teams in offshore.

Fluent in Korean and English - Flexible to travel mainly within Asia and US.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and apply good problem solving methods.

Well established relationships with the Semiconductor Industries Subcontract base and experience working within the Fabless Semiconductor Model is preferred

Product or Test Engineering experience in either a Fab or Fabless Semiconductor company working directly with Subcontractor Assembly and Test sites.

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Electronic Engineering and/or Electrical, Industrial & Prod Engineering.

Preferred: Master's, Electronic Engineering and/or Electrical, Industrial & Prod Engineering.
