Successful candidates for this position will join an application/customer engineering team in multi geo locations to provide technical support for QCOM customers in the design, development and commercialization of their small cell products, such as Femto or Pico cells and Backhaul infrastructures.

Responsibilities: The candidate will work with the customers externally and multiple functional teams internally to drive the productization of our small cell solutions:

  • Customer issue understanding, duplication and debugging

  • Support MKT for new product launch and customer enablement

  • Be product expert for WW CE teams to provide product knowledge and solutions

  • On-Site support customer platform design for system bring-up and performance

  • Write the technical application notes and carry out external releases

Minimum Qualifications Candidates should have strong experience in Platform, BSP & Networking S/W development/support exp. with wireless and embedded processor platforms.

5-8+ years experience in the following:

-In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux, BSP and platform S/W (embedded OS, CPU, understanding the peripherals).

-In-depth knowledge and experience with network L2/L3 switch equipment (IPv6, IPSEC, QoS and L2/L3 switch protocols)

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

-Strong software development skills (C/C++ and embedded programming)

-Familiarity with complex multicores platforms.

-Ability to perform under pressure.

-Willingness to travel when needed.

Preferred Qualifications -Experience on RF software

-Experience with H/W schematics and equipment/analyzer

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred: Master's, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
