Job title: Financial Planning Analyst
Work Location: Seoul, Korea
As our Nike Direct Financial Analyst you will be leading the Consumer Direct offense for the fast paced retail business. You will partner across finance & business team to pull together and present financial results and the story behind the numbers to the leadership team. You will also help in leading the long term planning and budgeting processes to ensure that a dimension’s operating model is in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
Prepare and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis, measuring progress against strategic plan, budget and forecast. Actively interpret and review financial results with the leadership team including trends/issues and opportunities to drive actionable results
Provide clear communication and direction on deliverables and deadline to the business team
-Partner with the business team to set revenue, margin, DC, and OPEX targets
Lead monthly forecast and close meetings; prepare forecast and CFO review deck to provide a clear view into variances and their drives vs. budget, forecast, and prior year
Consolidate risks and opportunities and communicate them to Korea and APLA leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
3+ years’ experience in financial planning, business planning, strategic planning and annual budgeting
Experience in retail business or digital industry preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required
Advanced Excel proficiency is required ; experience with SAP (BW, BPC) is preferred
Attention to detail in the development of management quality reporting and analytics
Ability to articulate financial concepts to both finance and non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner, including the ability to interface with and influence all levels of management
Self-starter that anticipates problems, identifies opportunities and provides creative solutions under time-pressured environment
-Team player with a positive attitude-open to learning other areas of the business and sharing team responsibilities.
