The Opportunity:

The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for building the Korean marketing plan, localising and executing global campaigns, and developing and executing new solutions-based campaigns that leverage a combination of digital, events and seminars (3rd party and OpenText), partner co-marketing, PR and customer success stories. This position will focus on OpenText’s Enterprise Business Unit, which spans a solution focus across Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Business Process Management (BPM) and E-Commerce as well as the Discovery and Analytics Business Unit.

You are great at:

  • Having a strong focus on in-market execution and yet thinking/acting strategically to support long-term growth of the business

  • Owning and leading campaign planning, development and execution - integrated campaigns with elements of digital, face-to-face and tele

  • Delivering campaigns that meet pipeline build targets in terms of both $value and #volume

  • Analysing marketing campaign performance and optimising/growing results based on the numbers

  • Liaising with the Account Development team to evaluate campaign results, pass marketing leads from campaigns for them to qualify and nurture, and ensure maximum return on investment

  • Adopting and championing the use of digital techniques to drive demand and tangible pipeline for the business - a digital first mindset

  • Leveraging global digital campaigns and providing Asia requirements back to global campaign teams

  • Planning and executing OpenText customer events and seminars (such as Innovation Tour) or 3rd Party events that OpenText sponsors

  • Driving integration of OpenText partner activities within campaigns

  • Partnering with PR agency on press releases and developing customer success stories

  • Working closely with Asia business stakeholders to ensure strong sales and marketing alignment

  • Communicating with all business stakeholders and managing key relationships across sales, pre-sales, global campaign teams, product marketing and communications

What it takes:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience focused on campaign management, partner, online and event marketing

  • Strong understanding of effective B2B demand generation tactics

  • Flagship regional event planning and execution

  • Good understanding of the enterprise software market and the ability to work well independently and within a team

  • Experience working with CRM systems ( & Marketing Automation platforms (Eloqua)

  • Strong focus on providing results of campaigns and activities (building Sales Pipeline)

  • Strong understanding of Sales Management and knowledge which activities drive and convert into Opportunities (Revenue)

  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills, attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to effectively present/communicate ideas & plans to internal stakeholders and secure buy-in

  • Language: Korean Native / English Fluent
