Job Overview The Offshore Planner is a role within Supply Management responsible for working with the foundries, SATs and South Korea based planners to manage timely delivery of product through wafer level stages of completion. The Offshore Planner will drive, monitor, prioritize and communicate the execution of weekly supplier requirements. The Offshore analyst will also facilitate on-going updates of key planning parameters associated with Cycle Times (DPMLs), Lead Times, Yields, and capacity allocations/assumptions.

Proactively drive execution of priority mins actions and prioritization activities

Facilitate and monitor wafer starts/fab outs and material WIP movements through fab subcon bump, probe, FE/BE1 & BE2.

Coordination and Alignment of Planning Parameters

Monitor supplier available capacities and supplier build ahead activities through fab and backend

Monitor prioritized wafer start requirements

In-line WIP tracking and compare to committed output

Ensure item level prioritization request execution

Weekly/Daily fab out tracking and monitoring

Weekly/Daily bump/probe/WLP tracking and monitoring

Capacity prioritization and consumption execution alignment to plan

Coordinate and drive Yield/Test Program disconnects and alignment

Cycle Time (DPML) and Lead Time tracking and monitoring

Option/tradeoff identification and communication to support constraint based scenario planning activities

Minimum Qualifications 5+ years experience in high tech production planning or manufacturing environment

3+ years experience with backend planning including bump, probe, FE/BE1 & BE2

Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel experience including macros, relational database querying, and linear programming

Command of key planning concepts

APICS CPIM certification

Ability to assimilate large data sets and manage complexity

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Industrial & Prod Engineering or Supply Chain Mgmt preferred
